Too many happenings in June

It's 31st May already? This could only mean 1 thing, that tomorrow is June! Aaaaa!!!!! Oh, before I forget, Happy Birthday Maisura! I am just dreading the coming month of June. Don't get me wrong. There are so many goods things that will be happening in June, which I shall list them very shortly. However, at the work front June only means one thing. The new budget cycle has started. Another round of madness, will start again, all the way till the end of the year. Yes, pray for me will ya, cause I really really do need all the help I can get to sustain throughout the next 6 months! I shall not go on, so if from this weekend on, you don't see any regular blog updates, it doesn't mean that I have vanished into thin air and left the blogging kingdom. Just pray for my well being cause I am probably stuck in my work station at the office or at home but still working, all red eyed due to all the extended hours spent staring at the computer monitor, trying to balance the budget numbers etc etc etc....

So what are the things that I could look forward to this June:

1) 1st June - tomorrow is a replacement holiday cause Saturday is a public holiday (the Agong's B'day)

2) 7 & 8th June - my leave has been approved, so you won't see me at work! It's Nayli's birthday on the 8th June and since we are not going anywhere this school holidays, thought that at least I should spend a day or two at home with her and Zarif

3) 9th June - having a mini birthday party for Nayli, I love parties and cakes yummy!!!

4) 16th June - our wedding anniversary and Pat's Birthday (another reason to celebrate and go have a good meal)

5) 22nd & 25th June - Razzi's (my boss) and Izam's Birthdays (in that order) - another reason to celebrate

So, all in all it isn't such a bad month but goodness will I be glad when it is over!

IT Savvy

Kids are so IT Savvy now, compared to us when we were at their age. It is just amazing. They can just so confidently and amazingly, competently switch on, log on with password mind you and then later on log off. Even my 3+ year old, who cannot even read yet, could somehow, turn on the computer, click on the IE icon on the desktop and choose his favourite website from the Favourites. He can even complain, Ma... why is it taking such a long time LOADING!!!! Simply amazing, I say!

The Pro.

Can still manage to smile for the camera!

The little brother ... control!!!

Look at the tiny hands on the keyboard. So adorable!

Big Sis is always available to lend a hand,

... or perhaps to read some instructions when he is stuck.

Here are the websites that they normally play their games online. If you have anymore websites that you know of for kids between 3-6, do send me a note yah! Appreciate it.

Still thinking of you

What were you thinking??? Thought I was gonna write about something more interesting and juicy huh! Well sorry hunny! That was just the title of the latest Chic Lit that I just finished in a weekend. Read almost 5/8th of it yesterday, and halfway throughout the Final AF Concert (yawn!yawn!), halfway through was because that was the length of time I was at my mom in law's, then we left, so then I got hooked on the movie Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. If you ever come across this movie when you are switching channels, watch it. It is hilarious. Good laugh even after midnight!
Finished it this morning and already returned it to the library. Yeah, and I didn't even pay a single cent. Just discovered last weekend that my library do stock up some chic lits. Thanks goodness, I am not stuck to Sidney Sheldon, Danielle Steele and the likes of other "old school authors".

Here's the synopsis in case you are curious:

AND NOTHING BUT?Now Rich and Tash are engaged, and Rich's old school friends crash into their love cocoon with big plans for celebrating, along with spouses and significant others, on a trip to a stunning French ski resort. The Book in My Handbag at the moment

It's The Guy Not Taken by one of my favourite authors Jennifer Weiner. Date bought 20/04/2007. As of today I am only at page 105 of 292 pages. I found out only after I bought it that it was a collection of short stories.

Here's the Synopsis:

Jennifer Weiner's talent shines like never before in this collection of short stories, following the tender, and often hilarious, progress of love and relationships over the course of a lifetime. From a teenager coming to terms with her father's disappearance to a widow accepting two young women into her home, Weiner's eleven stories explore those transformative moments in our every day.We meet Marlie Davidow, home alone with her new baby late one Friday night, when she wanders onto her ex's online wedding registry and wonders what if she had wound up with the guy not taken. We stumble on Good in Bed's Bruce Guberman, liquored-up and ready for anything on the night of his best friend's bachelor party, until stealing his girlfriend's tiny rat terrier becomes more complicated than he'd planned. We find Jessica Norton listing her beloved New York City apartment in the hope of winning her broker's heart. And we follow an unlikely friendship between two very different new mothers, and the choices that bring them together -- and pull them apart. The Guy Not Taken demonstrates Weiner's amazing ability to create characters who "feel like they could be your best friend" (Janet Maslin) and to find hope and humor, longing and love in the hidden corners of our common experiences.
My 2 cents worth:

I'm taking a long time to finish reading this book because I don't find the book really interesting not like her other writings. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with collection of short stories. I absolutely love Jeffrey Archer's, A Quiver Full of Arrows, that was superb writing, I couldn't put the book down, at some point, I was afraid of turning the page cause I was worried about where the stories were heading... the suspense was crazy! But back to this book, well... I can wait.

Decisions! Decisions!

Been thinking of getting a new pair of prescriptive glasses, since my current one is already about 2 years plus and crooked to one side already. Have my eyes on these new prodesign frames. Really cool, but the thing is I cannot decide on the design and colour. Whadya think? Any suggestions???

Design #1 - Model 5104 - Matt Medium in Olive Green

Design #1 - Model 5103 - Matt Medium Red

Design #3 - Model 5102 - Matt Dark Black

Design #4 - Model 5101 - Matt Dark Brown
All these 4 designs come is all these colours and more... like, Shiny Silver, Shiny Gold and Matt Medium Orange. Whadya reckon eh? I would probably end up with a safe colour like maybe black or brown, though the red does look really nice.

Who needs expensive toys??

Do you know what the above picture is of? It is actually bits and pieces that comes from a sticker page. You know if you get a piece of eg A4 of little stickers inside, well these are the surrounding bits that comes with it. So they aren't the actual stickers say Barbie or in this case Mc Donald's, they are bits around the stickers that you are supposed to throw away once you have peeled all the stickers. Don't ask me what my kids have done with the actual stickers, see what they have done withe these bits instead! I'm gonna think twice now about splashing at Toys'R Us.

Happy Mother's Day

It’s Mother’s Day again! My mother’s birthday is on the 9th of May, which falls during the Mother’s Day week, very good timing huh? Happy Birthday Mak and Happy Mother’s Day. This Mother’s Day should be celebrated more often in a year coz one day in a year just isn’t enough to show our appreciation for everything that you have done for us and still tirelessly still doing for us and now your grandchildren.

Now that I am a mother myself sometimes I do wonder …

This excerpt that I found in the web says it all…

What makes good mothers? It is a pertinent question whose answer cannot be contained within a few words. Mothers comprise of a bundle of emotions that sometimes defy reason.

So this goes out to all the mothers who have kept awake all night with their sick toddlers in their arms, constantly uttering those compassionate words, "It's OK honey, Mommy's here."

For all the mothers who run carpools and make cookies. And all the mothers who don’t For those who show up at work with milk stains on their dress and diapers in their handbags.

For those mothers who cannot restrain tears from trickling down their cheeks when they hold their babies for the first time in their arms; and for the mothers who give birth to babies they'll never see.

For the mothers who gave homes to babies and gifted them a family.

For the mothers who yell at their kids who clamour for ice cream before dinner.

For the mothers who defy all odds just to watch her kid perform and repeat to themselves"That's my child!!"

For all the mothers who read "Goodnight, Moon" twice a night for a year, and then read it again. "Just one more time."

For the mothers who taught their children to tie the shoelaces even before they started going to school.

For the mothers who incontinently turn their heads when they hear the word "Mom",even though they know that their kids are nowhere around.

For the mothers who silently shed tears for their children who have gone astray.

For all those mothers whose heart aches to watch her son or daughter disappear down the street, walking to school alone for the very first time.

So, this is meant for all the young and aged mothers, working mothers and housewives, married mothers and the single mothers, those with money and without and for those without whom life would have been insufferable.

Wish you a very Happy Mother's Day!!

Saturdays

Saturday is always a busy, busy day for me, nowadays. The days starts as early as a weekday! Therefore, it is not only 5 days in a week that I have to wake up early, it is now 6 days a week because starting this year Nayli has a Mental Arithmetic Class that starts at 8:00 a.m!!! What a time to start a class on a Saturday? I tried to hint this to the teacher before enrolling Nayli for this class, but somehow it just fell on deaf ears. Maybe I am the only parent who has a problem. Oh well, no more late Friday nights for me, or even if I decided to stay up to watch something, I better make sure I could get up early the next morning or else my girl will miss her Maths Class. In a way it’s kinda good to start the day early especially if there is a lot to be done in that day. Yesterday was such a day. I had a list made out on Friday:

8:00 – 9:30 a.m - Nayli’s Maths Class

9:30 – 10:30 a.m - Breakfast

10:30 – 11:30 a.m - Jaya Jusco, Alpha Angle (to get Zarif’s Spidey Stuff)

11:30 – 2:00 p.m - Lunch at Lake Club & Return Kids’ Library Books

2:15 p.m - Drop me off at BVII

2:30 – 4:30 p.m - Facial Appointment

4:30 – 6:30 p.m - Coffee @ Delicious with Pat

6:30 – 7:00 p.m - Fetch me from BVII and head to Mak Ngah’s House

7.00 – 10:30 p.m - Mak Ngah’s Birthday Makan-makan

Busy! Busy! Busy! My resolution to sleep in early on Fridays didn’t materialize the night before because the kids somehow slept early and since Jack had a late meeting that night and Mak has kidnapped my maid for the weekend, I was alone. Somehow, I was suddenly so energetic that night. After packing for the next day, I am not going on holiday anywhere it’s just that I figured that I should just pack a few change of clothes for everyone, just in case Jack decided to freshen up at Mak’s place before fetching me at BV. After the packing is done, I surfed the channels and ended up watching the re-runs of American Idol, the Bon Jovi night followed by Gol & Gincu on 8TV. I thought the 4 finalists of the American Idol are good. Never followed the season before last Friday cause I thought it lacked the ummph factor this time, none of the contestants quite measured up to Chris D this time round. At least the season before Daughtry’s had Bo Bice. However, after last Friday, I thought, the JT wannabe (Chris Richardson) has a future ahead and Blake is not bad at all. He's my current favourite. Blake that is.
I can’t really say who would be the next AI, the 3 girls are good too. I dunno, just have to wait and see. Perhaps Jordin.

I managed to wake up the next morning on time to bathe, bathed Nayli and prepared her cereal breakfast and managed to leave the house 10 mins before 8. Mis (my maid) is at mom’s cause Mom’s own helper has gone back home for a 2 months holiday. Since I cannot offer my help with housework, the least that I could do is offer my maid. Of course, it is also an opportunity for her to earn some extra dosh. Why not? It’s kinda nice to be just on our own. Sometimes… Zarif and Jack had a bit of a lie in, since Jack came back maybe at 1 or was it 2 the night before and Zarif, well, currently His Royal Highness is allowed to wake up as he pleases before he too gets enrolled in an 8 o’clock Maths Class! Came back after sending Nayli with Nasi Lemak breakfast, by the time Zarif is all bathed and fed, it was time to fetch Nayli from class. So, it is Jack’s turn to go out and fetch. While I tidy up the kitchen a bit.

After everyone had breakfast, we left to undertake the next task, the 2nd item on my itinerary for the day; Jaya Jusco Alpha Angle. I actually had a short trip alone on Thursday after work to get some albums for the house, went I spotted the Spiderman 3 merchandise area there. My goodness the things they had on sale were just fantabulous. It made even me all cross-eyed, looking at them, what more a web-slinger superhero worshipper! Felt like buying everything for Zarif. I knew that he has always wanted a bag. Since he already has a Justice League knapsack, it’s a bit of a waste to get another Spidey knapsack, furthermore it’s not like he really likes carrying it on his back all the time. So I thought I’d wait and take him to see it himself and let him decide what he would really like, plus what the Papa would approve. True enough when this little spidey fan saw the Spidey things on display he went absolutely delirious! Just couldn’t decide what he wanted. We finally made the decision for him. Check out below. We stayed a little longer than we expected here at JJ, so then we decided against having lunch at Lake Club as I was already late, and I might be late for my appointment. Jack just waited at the driveway while I ran up to the kids library to change the kids’ books. Then, he dropped me off at BVII.

That’s when I had my 2 hrs of pampering! Oooh, it was just so nice to have a facial at that place. If only I could do this more often and having it paid for. Oh well, in the mean time, there’s no harm in treating myself once in a blue moon. After all I truly deserved it especially after my 5 days of spoilt “holiday” last week.

I finished my pampering session, with a lower credit line on my Citibank card (don’t ask!!! How else do you think I managed to get myself a bottle of wine, a good bottle at that; according to Pat! These places don’t just go around giving people Mother’s Day Gifts puhleeeess, get real!) at about ¼ past 4. I was already famished by then since I didn’t have my lunch, only a quick Tuna Pastry bite before the facial. Pat couldn’t join me for coffee in the end, but we met for about 15 seconds, because I had to pass her the bottle of wine!!! Thanks goodness she was at her new place, so it was convenient for her to drop by on the way back. Can’t wait for her to move, then it would be so easy for us to meet. No Pat, no coffee chats, but I still went to Delicious to have a quick meal. Thought I’d stay there till Jack picks me up later in the evening. Then I found out that the book that I am currently reading was left in the other bag, so I had nothing to do while waiting. I finally settled for Wild Mushroom Soup and a Peppermint Tea since it was already 5 ish, wouldn’t want to spoil my appetite for tonight’s makan2 at Mak Ngah’s place. While waiting for my food, I alternate from thumbing through a mag that they had lying around maybe specially for lone diners like me and text messaging Pat and Jack. As I told Pat, I was worried that I would be seen as a lonely spinster having a meal. I was comforted by the fact that I had a huge, Toy R’Us plastic bag containing Nayli’s toy that I had purchased earlier, so at least people will think, oh but she must be married with at least a kid already, just look at the Toy R’Us bag. Gosh, I am so pathetic aren’t I, can’t remember when was the last time, I was ever so self-concious. This may just sprang out of boredom of being stuck alone.

In the end, we decided that we’d go to Mak Ngah’s after Maghrib, that’s around 8p.m. Since it was only almost 6, I decided to go home first. Took the train back home to my mom’s and Jack fetched from Tmn Melati stop. Showered and got the kids ready, rush rush rush and we were out of Mak’s house before 8.

It was my aunty’s 60th birthday. When she invited a week ago, she said, there won’t be so many people, just us (supposedly meaning just family). Somehow when we arrived, there was a marquee at her backyard and catered buffet laid out and a bunch of people I am so sure are not family!
I forgot, it’s Mak Ngah’s definition of tak ramai, not Jack’s! He!He! It was good fun anyhow, meeting my cousins and other aunties and uncles. The food was good, the dessert yummy! Thanks for the invite Mak Ngah and Happy Birthday to you, Many Happy Returns of the Day!

A cure for asthma.

I have just discovered the cure for asthma yesterday! Mommies who are hoping for a fixed permanent cure for their kiddies below 18, well sorry ladies this does not work for them unless, they are Trust Fund Babies! Not that I am anywhere close. Ok, the cure is not nebulizer, or ventolin. It's nothing that I can’t even spell. The cure is RT! (Retail Therapy!!)

After the May 1st Episode on Tuesday at the A&E and my battle throughout the day with my asthma attack, I thought that I was not going to survive yesterday, my last day of what was supposed to be a 5 day rest! I mean, I have been looking forward to this 5 day break for quite sometime. Thank goodness there was really no holiday getaway planned. Supposed to pick up a “rock” at some “rock extravaganza”, that did not happen! In fact I strongly suspect this is the main reason I fell sick and got asthma attack. Anyway, what else oh yes, supposed to get a facial and have a day out either eating at Delicious with Pat or just window shopping the whole day last Monday. Did not happen either cause my facial therapist, doesn’t work on Mondays. But of course by Monday I was still not feeling well. As a matter of fact, everyday since Saturday, I have been sleeping in the afternoon, bombed out after medication until Tuesday.4 days in a row in bed, unwell. I couldn’t even take the kids out for a treat. Didn’t even sleep quite well that A&E night, cause I guess it was some kind of a healing crisis, with the medication and all. It was terrible, as I was coughing, and wheezing, struggling to cough out the phlegm in my chest. Luckily I remembered the physiotherapist (when I was admitted for 5 days for asthma in that hospital), she did this karate action on my back to sorta loose the phlegm from wherever it was sticking too when one is wheezing. So anyhow, I asked my dahlink hubby's help me to do the same thing. Well, when does one resists to whack someone if given a chance right. So, whack! whack! whack! he went, until I’m like, wow! wow! yang, gugur pulak jantung I kang! He!he! Amazingly, right after that I started to cough out some thick heavy phlegm. Oh, you don’t really care for the details, ok I stop! To cut the long story short, I did to manage to get some sleep finally. But I do wake up a couple of times to what else but cough, cough and cough again.

However, surprisingly, I managed to wake up in time for the dawn prayers, bright and chirpy, woke the kids up at about 7 or so, bathed them, yeah I did it all by myself. Jack was also up and got ready early. We were out of the house by 8:30 in the morning, after an asthma episode the night before not bad huh? So we were in the car and Jack went like, so where are we having breakfast? I’m like, wherever? (but in my mind, Raju’s Raju’s Raju’s puhleees let’s go to Raju’s!!!) You’ve never heard of Raju’s? This place deserves a blog entry of it’s on. Later babe, need to get to the RT bit soon. I secretly planned to go to IKEA today actually, listed my wishlist the night before, yeah, asthma night, …. Hello! RT? The one important advice if you are turning to RT for relief, very important to plan ahead. No matter how sick you are at the moment of planning! So seconds before I left the house, I managed to slip my wishlist into my handbag. I broke my plans slowly and gently to hubby on the way to Raju’s I guess he could guess I needed this treatment after all and obliged without needing much persuasion and pleading. Lucky me!

So 10 o’clock on the dot we were done at Raju’s, loaded with Thosai Telur, Bawang and Chilli, Fried Chicken Ala Raju (a must if you’ve driven all the way from Gombak!), and Sotong Masala Ooh! La! La! Plus Teh ‘O Limau Panas (due to the cough, or else it has to be coffee for me!) we were ready for my RT session. Good timing and all, I am ready!!! So, we did it, followed my list to the letter, almost, with one addition or two, left the furniture haven 2 hours later, happy, elated and wheezing free, well sort of lah. Even my hubby commented how my asthma seems to have cured after spending time in IKEA! Aaahh what can I say. Next stop Giant. How can you not get RT when purchasing food! Another hour session there, pretty fast, the queue wasn’t so bad today, perhaps I’m the only few persons who left food shopping on the last day of a 5 day break! Anyhow, double RT pleasure for me. We arrived home at 3:30 exactly half an hour before the IKEA delivery, uhuh! Home delivery baby!!! Talk about RT, no joke, I didn’t spend two hours there picking food savers and paper napkins!! We’re talking real furnitures here. A long overdue cupboard for my maid’s room, for my linen and towels; another bookcase for the study cum toy room cum ironing room; a tiny bookcase for the kids; a side table; a swivelling computer chair for our IT corner in the living room and finally a another bookcase for the tiny corridor between the master bedroom and the kid’s room. Wah lau! The best part of today is that everything went very smoothly and to top it off, the same day delivery really allow my “glow” after the theraphy to continue further till the end of the day, that’s when we spring cleaned, not the whole apartment, but basically the very corners that the new furnitures are going to. It’s like you went shopping for clothes and shoes then come home to try them on. Arrrr happy happy, all the while drinking loads of warm water in between and walking around the house, like what Jack said reminded him of the movie, The Shadow, starring Alex Baldwin. I had to because I have house mite allergy, that means no dust, so no house work (He! He! Lucky me!), so the only way that I can do house work, should I REALLY REALLY NEED TO, is to cover my nose and mouth. Since we were frantically tidying up the house, kids all excited from a whole day out, Jack decided to relief me from cooking dinner, thank goodness, I am sooo blessed today! We had dinner at our favourite Kelantanese food stall nearby our place, even fetched my mother-in-law to join us for dinner. Ahhh this has turned out to be a good day for me. Thank God! Almost forgot the A&E incident, ALMOST!!!

Aaaar but back at work today! No I didn’t write all these today at the office, wrote all this last night as if I’m writing it Thursday morning. Saved it in word, and just post it this morning. Planning, that’s why I’m in Planning Dept, I am just sooo born for my job!!!! Yeah, right, bet my mother has some stories to oppose that statement. Ok, it’s actually 12:13 a.m and my neck is aching already from typing lying down on the bed. Jack is already winding down. So, ciao all gotta wake up at 6 tomorrow. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, what am I doing still up???? Talk about overdosed of RT.

A&E

Have you ever been to any hospitals A&E? How are your experiences so far? Good? Bad? Why did you go there and at which level of emergency were you there for? What I will relate to you here is what happened to me today at the very well known Private Specialist Centre nearest to my place.

Let me begin by stating that I really have no problem with this hospital. I have been going to this place ever since I have been with Talisman, my current company. They really provide good medical coverage so we enjoyed the best of medical treatments and facilities offered. That was where I had my 1st child and my 2nd, where they went for their full 2 years immunizations. That was where I was hospitalized for 5 whole days for asthma, that was also where I got my treatment for the thingy that I had in my eyelids back then when I was a daily contact lenses wearer. The hospitalization services are superb, staff is friendly and courteous. Food is good too, and added bonus, if you are there for something that did not kill your appetite, or you have visitors who loves eating hospital food (like my kiddies).

So what happened to me today was really upsetting. I went in this morning at about 10 a.m ( I am very sure of this as the number chit that we got, stated 10:07) so, it took a couple of minutes for the staff at the registration counter to pass me the chit. So I rushed in short of breath, breathing loudly and heavily, almost panting and saying, please I need the Neb showing him a gesture with my hand to my mouth (Nebulizer, the inhaler that is given to an asthmatic during an attack like the one I had that morning. This is nothing new to me, I know I need that thing. In fact I had it 2 weeks back, on the 21st April, in Klang remember I wrote something about it in my previous blog?

While I said that, I passed him my Mediclinic card, so this happened as soon as I arrived that is at 10ish. This is a critical point to note, as something happened in relation to this matter a little later on. So let me explain how this Mediclinic card works, our HR awhile back decided to source out our medical packages to an Insurance company. In order to obtain medical treatment without outright payment, we are to only get medical treatments at hospitals or clinics that accepts this card. This is for walk-in – emergency cases. However, if it is for a set appointment with a doctor/specialist/dentist, we have to obtain the Guarantee Letter (GL) a day or two before the said appointment, or else we would have to wait a while for the GL to be sent from the Insurance company to the hospitals/clinics. In other clinics there is just no problem, I would have to fill in a Mediclinic Form that is readily available sign it, the staff there would cross check my details with my Mediclinic card and perhaps my ID, and walah treatment is free an immediate. I have come to this particular hospital’s A&E unit before and used this card twice before today, the 1st incident I had to wait almost 45 minutes after seeing the doctor before we were allowed to leave and the Insurance Company took awhile to fax in the GL and I had the kids with me, can’t remember whether it was me or them who needed treatment. The 2nd incident, there was no waiting. Ok,I stop here for now.
So my number on the chit at 10:07 was 1012, and the current number being called was 1007, if I was not mistaken. Naturally, I waited, the A&E lounge was too cold, only caused me to wheez more, thus cough more, so I opted to wait / stand outside. 15 minutes of waiting, someone called me to go have a blood pressure test, temperature check the normal mini pre-check up before the Medical Officer (MO) will see a patient in this hospital’s A&E, don’t know about others. The nurse had problems with the bp machine because I guess I was pretty anxious with all the wheezing, the coughing, the waiting outside… She was like, calm down, please I need to do this reading again because it is incorrect. Please try to calm down. How can I calm down, I cannot breathe!!! So, I was saying boleh tak bagi saya nebulizer sekarang? Saya dah tak tahan nie!!! To which she replied, sekejaplah, mesti jumpa Dr dulu, utk dapat tau ubat apa nak pakai. Yeah, hello woman, I cannot breathe nie, nak tunggu apa lagi nie.

Did I then get the neb? Noooo! I had to wait further cause it wasn’t 1012 yet. By then it was only 1010 and it was already 10:30 and I was breathless, and wheezing and coughing my lungs out, outside the A&E and was half crying (yes, unfortunately I get emotional quite easily, and when I am upset as in angry, but cannot scream at someone, I cry way too easily!) That did it, I was thinking to myself am I at an Emergency Unit or what??? Why am I waiting when I am half dyeing here? What constitutes a really emergency, blood and cuts and and no longer breathing? What? So I barged in much to (must be, I’m guessing) the embarrassment of my hubby who is ever so patient, and said, Please I need to see the Nebulizer right now, I have been waiting for over 30 minutes, and I just cannot breathe and I am coughing like this. Please!!!! No as coherent as that I was almost in tears already. And guess what, when you act crazy or diva ish like that, they let you in, and guess how long the doctor took to diagnose my condition and prescribed to the nurse what medication to be put into the neb, a whole of 3 seconds of the stethoscope on my already tight, wheezing, phlegm filled chest. 3 seconds, and I had to wait 30 minutes, and they even had a dedicated ASTHMA BAY, there was even a sign at the top of the cove! I was so upset, that they couldn’t let me jump queue just for 3 second to see the MO, then I can bel left in the asthma bay with the neb, that’s all I am asking. Why did I have to endure 30 minutes of pain just be cause it wasn’t my turn yet, couldn’t they see how bad my condition was compared to the other patients who were waiting?

So, I got 2 rounds of the Neb, and I became better instantly!! But by then I was soo so tired because of the length of time I was short of breather I guess, it really drained out all the energy (or what was left) in me.

Then came the medications, wait, wait and wait for my turn, and when the medication has been dispensed of, the cashier told me, ummm we actually have to wait for the GL, cause we need to see if it is covered. That’s was when I blew my top again. Miss, it is 11:30, I gave the registration counter my card at 10! Are you telling me, it takes 1 and a half hour to get a fax from the Insurance company???????? I don’t know whether it was the insurance company’s fault or the registration fella was late in calling them, I don’t care. I am sick, do I need to wait this long????? Puan, tapi kami ada ramai orang hari nie, yelah tapi saya dah bagi kad say daripada pukul 10 tadi!!!!!! Aaaaaa I am so furious with this system!!!!!! If it was my child who was sick, I swear I would have gone even more ballistic this morning. Crazy. What a day!

I went home, so tired. Thank goodness my parents took my kids with them to the wedding that I was supposed to attend and later on, to send their maid to the LCCT to catch a flight home. So, I managed to have a good rest. I am much better now, still wheezing a little, took my medications already. But guess where I am not going should I need a another neb shot????
