Updates

It has been so long since I had the luxury to write. You could say the the storm had just passed over at the office front that is. The next major dateline is I think on the 25th of September. In the mean time, there are some things that needs to be prepared but at my own pace. Thank God. At least, I wouldn't need to bring home work and would be able to sneak to the gym at lunchtime without feeling too guilty.

Much ado About A Bag That is Not a Plastic Bag

Two reasons for this quick post.

Number One! Need your help. Please vote for moi!

Please click on the website above and scroll to the Sunday's July 1st entry, and vote for Norhani, that's me duh!!! I know, just to win a box of 4 cupcakes. Just wanted to win that's all really, so don't delay. Vote okay!! Thanks.

Number Two. Just wanted to vent out my frustrations cause I'm here updating my blog when really I should be in the Q for Anya H's I'm Not a Plastic Bag. As I am updating this there's like a riot there at KLCC at the moment for the bag, and the store is not even open yet!

Here's the story, do you know about the bag,
well for more info on it please log on here:

So, I'm supposed to go with a colleague, no we did not take leave... well that's another story altogether. Anyhow, since we did not apply for leave, she was called in for a meeting at 9. So that's that, she won't be able to make it. I'm going, by hook or by crook, but I do need another person to get another bag for her and also another person to get one for her sister, who even though is in London, also missed it during the launch over there.

I somehow managed to sweet talk my hubby into agreeing to be the one other person. Yeah, I know isn't it sweet that he agreed, I'm still like... thinking is this for real. Anyhow, I'm supposed to come to work first and meet him in KLCC, cause somehow I happen to owe him SF breakfast!!! I planned to leave for KLCC at about 9 ish since that I do know for a fact (already called to confirm) that it opens at 10 a.m. At about 5 past 9, hubby called, he was already at KLCC, expecting me to be there already. So I rushed out to meet him, while waiting for the lift, still at the office, he called again and he went... " You will not believe this! (He doesn't even know where Anya Hindmarch is ok, but he must have followed the crowd or something, I only told him this morning that it was at the San Francisco Coffee Side, that's all, didn't even tell him the floor level cause I was never sure myself), there is a Security Barrricade, with TV crews, interviewing queueing people, and people are queueing and some even sitting down on the floors outside the shop way up to THE CENTRE COURT area!!! and over at CENTRE COURT, there are lines and lines of barricades like you would see at the BANK!!! This is crazy!!! Are you sure you want to this?" And I'm like, I told you this Bag is serious business and everyone wants them!!!

Jack thought he saw my old friend Avy, and asked me to call her, if I don't believe what he is saying. Got her number, dialled and guess what, she changed her number. Called Pat to get her number, and guessed what can't reach Pat, not even at home. It's just fate. I'm just not going to get the bag.

Well, Jack said to come anyway to see it for myself. I went as far as the bus station but turned back cause, I really think it's just not worth it. I mean what if I do join the Q and the minute I reach the door and they'd go like, sorry that was the last one, we're out of it. I'd just die!!!!

Why do I want it so badly??? Well cause I want it that's why. I have Cold Storage and Village's Grocer's Shopping Bag already, what's wrong with having and A.H Shopping Bag. One can never have enough bags!!!! Booohooo!!! I want the bag!!!!

Okay I was just not happy about it. So, we went over to KLCC to check it out. And guess what the people are still there, even though the shop was already closed, lights all off and everything inspite it being 12 ish only in the afternoon. The guards, the barricade and all these hopefull looking people, and of course yours truly here was there to check out what the commotion was all about. After seeing the SOLD OUT sign we gave up and went for lunch instead. Sad!
