Weekend Wedding Part 2

The wedding reception was held on Saturday afternoon. Wonderful bright hot day, no sign of any rain until the end of the reception. Perfect day to have a wedding.

As usual, no Malay wedding is complete without the kompang procession to start the march to the bride's house, signalling that the groom has arrived.

Guests at the bride's house were all waiting by then.

Nervous Iki? Yesterday would have been more nervewrecking I would think.

They were quickly ushered into the tent by well meaning relatives,

cause the temperature was extreme!!! Good thing they chose white!

I brought to the wedding, my brother's potrait lens, so I tested it out on a few willing/non-willing subjects. I didn't switch lens when it was time to take pictures of the couple on the dias! Big mistake! Therefore, there are not many pictures available of the couple on the dias.
