Belated Weekend Updates

My last weekend update is long overdue. Tomorrow is already Saturday. I'm posting this with minimal write-ups. Last Saturday was Zaim's 1 yr old MMR jab at the Dr's. Since the passing of the late Dr. Haliza, we have not been to see any Paed, since there wasn't any jab lined up until now. After much contemplation, I decided on changing Hospitals altogether, this time, we decided on Glen Eagles Medical Centre, for the simple reason of avoiding long queues during Dr.'s appointments. Since there is an opportunity to change, why not. We chose Dato' Dr.Iean Hamzah.

On the way to the hospital. Zaim in his car seat, not the way he is supposed to be seated... hmmm I try.

At the clinic, notice how empty it is. Just wonderful! Something that you would not see at APSH. I really have no problem with APSH, love that hospital, their service, their catering (this matters to me, a lot ok!), the medication dispensed, but really, the number of patients there is just amazing!!!

Waiting for his turn.

The walls of the clinic is filled with art work from Yusof Gajah, I have always loved his work, the Dr. more so obviously!!!

Zaim, being measured, he is 10.7kg by the way!!!

Jab time, sorry no picture of the Dr, just his knee. Must make a note to give a pointer or two to hubby when taking pictures for a blogger!!! Tsk! tsk! tsk! How can I tell my story now??? Anyway, Zaim looked a bit funny here. But really, his staff made such a racket while the Dr. was about to jab him that, Zaim totally, didn't realise what was going on down on his thigh, ha!ha! not a tear was shed. Thank Goodness. Since the brother and sister were also present, and since they had them, Nayli and Zarif also got their flu jab. Something unplanned. No pictures sorry! For those who never took this Flu Jab for their kids or even themselves, you should. This is by no means for the H1N1 Virus, but for the normal Cough and Cold. It can be administered to children over 2 yrs old, check with your Paed. I find that, God Willing the kids are less prone to colds and coughs with this Jab once a year at least. Even if they do catch em' it would not be that severe. Insya-allah, I leave the rest to the Almighty, one can always take all the precautions, especially when one is covered by the Co's Insurance!!!

Then we were off to Shah Alam, to the Kompleks PKNS to be exact for Festival Sains, Teknologi & Inovasi Negeri Selangor 2008 [FESSTIS] because I am a Science and Technology Junkie!!! NOT!!!! Seriously, Jack's company has a booth there, so we went there to support him.

So much for minding the booth eh?
We were told that this particular shop sells a good bowl of Laksa Assam. Just had to try it ourselves. Not as good as the ones we had in Langkawi, but it was good nevertheless!!!

By then Zaim was already awake. Here he is patiently waiting for the father to devour his bowl of Laksa, while the mother eyes it too longingly even after finishing one bowl herself before that!

A balloon to keep him amused.
Luckily, Zali brought along his netbook, to keep these 2 occupied.
Since we missed, their swimming lessons on Saturday, we went for the Sunday slot. Nayli has graduated from the free form pool to the lap pool, with another group of class and instructor.

Here's Zaim, blissfully unaware of his surroundings!

Zarif, about to dive in. He is still "adjusting" his "feelings" swimming in a deep pool.

Debush!!!

Once awake, he knows, where he is, so, you better take him for a swim or else!
