PD part 4... day 3.

Day 3 in Port Dickson, starts of course by waking up the children on time to go down for breakfast before it's over. They did pretty well so far, we managed to be all bathed and ready at the coffee house by 7:30 a.m, yup, you got that right! Well, the instruction is clear and simple. "If you kids want to spend a long time at the beach and pool, you better get up now!!!". Works all the time!!!

Zarif! Wake up, Mama doesn't want to miss the lovely warm croissants!!!

Nayli curled up like a prawn.

Zaim at breakfast, obviously please with something.

After the western dish, he had his share of Nasi Minyak. Yes, they served Nasi Minyak instead of Nasi Lemak, sooo dissapointing.

The three of 'em.

This is the bar and adults (infiniti) pool only.

This is where we ran for shelter when it rained.

When the rain stopped though not totally, we went back to the beach and discovered this huge pond left by someone. They didn't come back so my kids took over.

Lovely shell.

Zaim!!! How did you manage to get sand all over your face???

And hair?? Hope none went into your mouth!!!

Row row row your boat! Ha!ha! just for pictures.

Time for his milk break!

By the time we were ready to go out for lunch, he is already snoozing away!!!

Today we decided to go a little further for lunch, like all the way to Melaka.

We ended up at McDs only, cause it was getting late. This was when we discovered that Zaim loves KETCHUP! OMG!!!

It's has been ages since I have been to Melaka, probably Zarif was really small then or was perhaps wasn't even born yet. We discovered that Melak has changed a lot. Firstly we noticed this tower, quite hard to miss!

There was even an Aqua Duck Tour, quack! quack!

The Stadthuys building was still there, but we had difficulty finding the A Famosa. What happened to the A Famosa?

While driving round and round Melaka Town in circles, Nayli was fascinated by the small quaint little houses and narrow streets. These are some pictures that she took.

We were in the car for quite sometime, Zaim was getting really bored and edgy.

I had to let him out of his seats and play with Nayli at the back. Zarif is not in the picture because he is fast asleep in front. We still couldn't find A Famosa. In the end at almost 6:30 p.m we saw kind of an archway, that if you look closely you'd see A Famosa about 500mtrs away! The signage was just soooo bad!!!

There was an art festival going on there. There was kind of this pantomime sketch ... I don't really know what to call it. I had a difficult time explaining to Nayli what was going on without demeaning what these International Artists performing. If you know what I mean.

The A Famosa, at long last.

A canon kids! Look! They had no idea what this was.

The trishaw ride was not missed. Nayli was rather embarassed to get on one, what with the loud decorations and loud music, I can understand but I insisted, cause it was gettting late and that would be the fastest way to go for a quick round that Stadthuys area.

She relented in the end. Well at least, she did not have to bear the dangdut music like what we had on ours!

Zaim's stroller, safely strapped up.

Hello!!!

By the time the trishaw ride was over it was almost dark, even the lights were on already on this tree in front of this building which was supposedly the building where the Merdeka Treaty was signed. Pretty historic stuff eh! Our day ended really late in Melaka, we then went to check out the Dataran Melaka mall, this place is huge, but inside it doesn't look that much different than small shops in Sungei Wang Plaza. We then went seafood restaurant hunting all the way to Jasin area.

We ended up eating here at Alai, wherever that is. It was late, kids were sleepy, we were hungry. After the late dinner, we drove all the way back to Port Dickson and arrived at 1 a.m!!
